Hank was good at seeing through people, at getting to the point, and to seeing what
was important. Some of his writings are about people in need and how hard it is to cure an
obsession or addiction.
There are two songs in particular that make me see red. One is “Everybody’s Got One”. I
should hope so. The other is that the “Candy Man Makes the World Taste Good”. It makes me
sick at my stomach.
